  KwikCount/EX Add-In for Excel® FAQs

These are the most frequently-asked questions concerning our KwikCountEX program. If you still can't find what you need, email us with your question or pick up the phone and give us a call!

What is the difference between KwikCount, KwikInventory, and KwikCheck?

KwikCount is an add-in for Excel® that gives a simple interface for the TriCoder data into an Excel® worksheet. If you are skilled in Excel® macro programming, you can perform many of the basic functions of KwikInventory or KwikCheck.

KwikInventory is a program to keep track of parts inventories, finished goods, supplies, stockroom, etc. It also can be used for order reordering, order tracking, receiving, and label printing.

KwikCheck In/Out is a borrower accounting program. It answers: who has the tool, file, equipment, etc.; when are they due back; who is waiting on them; and who is late in returning them?

Would KwikInventory be a better solution?

If you have just a few products (less than 500) and you are already familiar with Excel®, KwikCount will probably be adequate for your needs - it is also a less expensive solution.

If you have more than 500 products, unless you are an expert in Excel® macro programming and have plenty of time, KwikInventory is a much better solution. KwikInventory gives you a list of what to order, how much to order, and what orders are late. In addition, it can automatically print product labels upon receipt.
