Worth Data® LZ300 & LZ400 Undecoded Lasers
These LZ300 and LZ400 laser scanners are industrial-quality performers that are designed and manufactured exclusively by Worth Data. We developed these lasers to improve reliability and reading performance as well as to add our own experience in the bar code business into the design of the product. They have an outstanding read rate, reading even poor quality bar codes instantly. These lasers scan at 36 times per second so a few misreads are not even noticeable, and after the first successful read the unit shuts off showing a green good read light. It is excellent for all types of bar codes including dot matrix, laser, thermal, and thermal transfer.
They read high density bar codes down to a .13mm narrow bar size. An optional S21 or S11 gooseneck stand is also available for hands-free scanning. The laser engines are designed to survive 2000G of force and temperatures down to -40° C. It has been tested with multiple 3 metre drops to concrete. The 3 metre coiled cord cable survives 1,000,000 bends. These lasers use the outstanding Symbol® 1200 Series Scan Engine, which has a lifetime warranty on the mylar scan element and coupled with our decoders and design offer the best laser scanners on the market today.
